Connected applications
A PMIS delivers most when it is connected. CMCS integrates PMWEB with the finance, scheduling, AI, document and GIS applications around it, so data is entered once, in the right system, and governed once. One CMCS delivery team designs, builds and supports every integration.
The principle
System of record for budgets, commitments, procurement, contract administration, change orders and payment certification.
System of record for the general ledger, accounts payable, chart of accounts, cost centres and treasury.
The same rule applies to every connected application: each system keeps the role it does best, and PMWEB holds the governed project record that links them.
The ecosystem
A PMIS and an ERP answer different questions. PMWEB holds the project record; the ERP holds the general ledger. Integration keeps both answers consistent, so finance sees the true project position without re-keying or month-end reconciliation.
CMCS has delivered PMWEB integrations with SAP, Oracle and government ERPs including Oracle GRP, for developers and government entities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
PMWEB links directly to the Primavera P6 database. WBS, activities, dates, actuals, remaining duration, percent complete and total float flow into PMWEB, where they are linked to cost, change and contract records. P6 stays the scheduling tool; PMWEB connects the schedule to everything else.
For schedule risk analysis, CMCS has integrated PMWEB with Safran.
Gryps is an AI platform for capital project owners. As its exclusive MENA partner, CMCS puts Gryps to work on the data held in PMWEB: cost forecasting, technical and procurement evaluation, document intelligence and plain-language questions across the portfolio.
Gryps also connects to Oracle Unifier, Primavera and Procore, so owners running mixed platforms can use one AI layer.
askAIRO, a new CMCS offering, answers questions from PMWEB and your ERP together through read-only connectors, on PMWEB hosted on your own servers or in the cloud. askAIRO
Bluebeam is the standard tool for PDF markup, design review and quantity take-off. Used alongside PMWEB, reviews and quantities feed the records that the PMIS governs.
On-premises configurations are available for organisations with strict data-residency requirements.
For city-wide and linear programmes, projects are easier to manage on a map. CMCS has delivered a working PMWEB, Primavera P6 and Esri GIS integration that shows schedule and cost by location.
PMWEB has its own dashboards and integrates with Power BI for executive reporting. CMCS builds portfolio dashboards and a workflow task and performance dashboard that shows due and delayed tasks across every project.
Where design teams work in a common data environment or document management system, PMWEB connects to it, so the PMIS keeps the governed record of reviews, transmittals and approvals.
Integrations are available for Aconex, Autodesk ACC, SharePoint and Egnyte. PMWEB can also be integrated with any other DMS as a paid customization.
Digital signature closes approvals without paper. Asset data is handed over to Maximo at completion, and Salesforce links sales commitments to delivery for developers.
The outcome
Commitments, certified invoices and budget revisions flow to the general ledger automatically.
Liabilities and cash flow reflect every commitment the moment it is approved.
Every step linked end to end by the same identifiers in both systems.
Budgets, commitments, actuals and forecasts combined for a reliable cost at completion.
The systems stay synchronised, removing the multi-day close.
Every posting carries its project code, cost code and certificate reference.
Technical advisory
Comparison framework, complete touch-point reference, technical architecture, development methodology, testing scope and assumptions, from the team that builds these integrations.
